About Crowd City
Crowd City replaces the usual arena fighter with a growing group of runners. You begin with only a few followers and move through city streets looking for neutral pedestrians. Every person you touch joins the group, increasing the number displayed above your crowd. Rival groups follow the same rule. If two crowds meet, the larger one can absorb members of the smaller group, so a difference of only a few people may decide whether you become a citywide force or lose your entire run.
The opening is a route-planning challenge. Parks, plazas, and broad streets often hold useful clusters, while narrow alleys may slow the group and scatter its trailing members around corners. Hunting another player too early can waste time if their crowd remains just out of reach. It is safer to recruit until you have a clear advantage, then cut across the target's route rather than following from behind. Large crowds are powerful but highly visible, encouraging smaller groups to avoid them and making tight turns less efficient. The match timer adds urgency: neutral pedestrians become scarce, and the final phase shifts toward intercepting rivals who can no longer grow safely on their own. Crowd City creates suspense without attack buttons or complex abilities. Reading numbers, predicting movement, and choosing busy streets are enough. The strongest runs balance efficient recruiting with one or two well-chosen takeovers instead of chasing every colored group that appears nearby.
How to Play
- Lead the group: Drag, point, or use the available movement controls; followers trail automatically.
- Recruit neutral people: Sweep through unclaimed pedestrians to build a safe early advantage.
- Read the numbers: Engage only when your crowd is clearly larger than the rival group.
- Intercept instead of chasing: Cross ahead of a smaller crowd so it has less time to escape.
- Use wide streets: Open routes keep large groups together and make direction changes easier.
